Replay 1.20 layout scope

Layout and serialization statements on this page refer only to Replay 1.20 unless explicitly labeled as Game-Test cross-reference provenance. Game-Test names and bodies are comparison evidence; source UDT sizes, offsets, strides, and dispatch values are not Replay layout evidence.

Evidence status

One raw GPU temporary-array loader has a provisional function match, and a separate GfxImage Mark helper is identified. The GfxImage payload layout, complete Load route, and runtime image-consumer path remain unknown.

Observed Replay routes

  • Replay ID 20397 q_Load_GfxImageRawGpuTempArray at RVA 0xE302F0 is the provisional counterpart of Game-Test Load_GfxImageRawGpuTempArray. The Replay body shares the source operation sequence and count-controlled loop; the preferred body score is 0.9375, versus 0.81319 for the next target candidate in the inspected fully decoded 100–400-byte function set.
  • The paired Replay parent ID 18173 Load_GfxLightGridVolumeAtlasDataTemp calls ID 20397 as direct-call ordinal 2, with RCX set to 1 and RDX to 2. The source parent has the corresponding child call and argument setup. Its parent body correspondence is less exact (0.759259 trigram similarity), so this remains corroborating context rather than an exact parent anchor.
  • The candidate loader body advances through repeated 0x28-sized work units and computes transfer size from the count. Treat those as observed Replay code operations; the 0x28 step is not a confirmed serialized record size.
  • The Replay function row stores size 231, of which 230 bytes decode in the reviewed extent; one trailing byte remains undecoded. Preserve that uncertainty and the current SQLite size. The Game-Test source row is 238 bytes; that source size does not define Replay layout.
  • Replay ID 24824 Mark_GfxImageAsset at RVA 0xF62570 is a separate 16-byte Mark leaf. Its pointer-parent calls identify a Mark/reachability route, not the GfxImage Load parser or image-data schema.

Cross-build provenance and limits

The Game-Test Atlas candidate is symbol ID 25866 at source RVA 0x8E0DF0. The Atlas-generated signature describes the second parameter as unsigned __int64, while the extracted PDB signature CSV describes it as unsigned int. Replay's stored prototype is also generic. Keep q_; do not transfer a source prototype or claim ABI equivalence. Source wrapper owners are more numerous than the two Replay direct-call sites indexed for this target, and Replay reports additional incoming references. Other target body candidates and the unmatched source wrappers remain open alternatives.

No Replay GfxImage member offsets, dimensions, mip/stream recipe, data-pointer fixup, payload size, GPU allocation contract, or complete image dependency path has been established. The Mark helper's build-local type immediate and the loader name do not supply those formats.
